Kinect head tracking

The example allows you to view a 3D model as if you would see it through a window (the screen is the window). By moving your head, the perspective of the model changes and you are able to look "around" the model.

The example uses the OpenNI library to capture the user skeletal data and OpenSceneGraph to render the 3D model.

Technically, this is how it works. A kinect can track users by analysing the sensed depth image. From the skeletal data it is possible to extract the position of the head. When the position of your head with respect to the screen is known, you can setup the camera (through with you see the model) in such a way that it corresponds with your eye position.
